About Us

Telehealth includes several times of technology-supported connection between your family and an intervention provider.

A synchronous or “live” session is where you will connect directly with a provider in real time over video conferencing.

An asynchronous connection is where you will share information within our secure platform for your provider to review and send you feedback and recommendations (such as uploading a video of you and your child working on a skill).

There are also combined or "hybrid" approaches of tele-connection. Providers select approaches that best serve your child’s individual needs and meet necessary requirements.

The Bridges2Families platform includes resources for providers to support the families that they serve through the creation of individual care portals where a family can access all of their telehealth sessions and provider’s notes in one, easy-to-use platform. The Bridges2Families platform also allows providers to easily navigate across and track client families in one dashboard system.

Our Team

Bridges2Families is a researcher-developed platform, intended to support ease and quality of telehealth intervention for children and families, regardless of where families live.
